The advantage of our four methods of file capture

At Skink Ink we have recently upgraded all of our image capture equipment and capabilities. We have three in-house retouchers so we’re excited to offer new and enhanced services six days a week to customers looking for scanning and photography of flat artworks. 

  • All image capture is done in house
  • All files are color corrected by a retoucher
  • Clients are shown the proof next to the original for direct comparison
  • Alll are delivered with a hard or paper proof
  • All scans and photography are 16 bit
  • All are suitable for making fine art prints
  • We send the finished file to you and keep a copy for your future printing needs

Scanning and or photography is an excellent way of archiving and recording works that have been sold or could be lost or are  just vulnerable to degrading. They are also useful for making reproductions of 2d works for print, design work, for publication or for sale.
